I think emo can be a music style, fashion sence, or anything els people make it. It is what people mak it today. The fashion sence has changed;;

-Died hair (usually black)
-Long hair (enough to cover eyes)
-Makeup (both male, and female)
-Tight shirts
-Studded belts
-black fingernails
-sudded belts
-Band shirts or anything depressint like that
-Girl pants
-Really skinny
-And chucks or vans. The shoes don't really matter
-And you can always add in some accesories

As for the music;;
-Emotional
-Screamo
-Indie
-All kinds of rock

Mm, I agree, the fashion sence has changed although I do like both studded and sudded belts and have a lot of depressint band tshirts.
