To be honsest with you Mr.Dobi i am not impressed with your work that you have been putting out there as of late. It just seems that since you have become "popular" your just trying way to hard. Think about the message your trying to convey. Don't make t-shirt just to make t-shirts. Also, i have to disagree with you on the Taking Back Sunday Shirt. Yea, it's like your shirt but it's not the same. The concepts are the same but i mean get over yourself. Nothing in this world is orginal it has been done some place else and probably better. Anyway. Keep up with the Photography.
anywho, i don't like the past few shirts i did either and kind of painted myself into a wall with the whole "shirt of the month" thing which felt a bit forced. i am abandoning that idea with the next season.
i have big things coming soon, just today i finished the final illustration for the book i've been slaving over. 100 illustrations is intense.
Nice Catch. I didn't see it myself, anyway it's good to see that you have been keeping yourself busy. I have to say im looking forward to your book. Looking back on my last entry i have to say i was bit harsh with the "trying to hard"...i have to say im sorry for that. Just think of it as constructive criticism.
i'm not saying there won't be shirts pressed inbetween seasons, there probably will be. i just don't want the added pressure of knowing i have to put one out every month.
So um... I'm excited for the hoodies. Are they going to be new designs, hoodies with old t-shirt designs on them, or new ones, or both? Drop some knowledge!
i'm an illustrator / photographer / whatever else who does work primarily in the music industry for the bands you love to hate. this blog serves as a means to show works in progress / photos / personal pieces that don't necessarily have a home at my other sites.
